Nursing
The Nursing Team at Kardinia Health are a dynamic group, whose interests and expertise cross the spectrum required in General Practice. In our state of the art treatment room we perform many duties including wound care, minor surgical procedures, accident and emergency treatments, immunisation, travel vaccination, Chronic disease management, Over 75yrs Annual Health Assessments, 4yr old Health Checks and Pre Employment Medicals.

Amy Richmond - Division One Amy qualified as a Division 2 nurse in 2006 and has worked at Geelong Private Hospital as a surgical nurse, mainly in the areas of orthopaedics, gynaecology and urology as well as general medical, rehabilitation and coronary care. During this time, Amy has pursued and obtained a Bachelor of Nursing at Deakin University in 2011. As a Division 1 nurse, Amy is enjoying continuing her education in the Primary Health Care field with a passion for public health and health promotion. |

Rachel - Enrolled nurse Rachel qualified as an enrolled nurse in 1990 at the Geelong Hospital and spent the majority of her career working in the acute hospital setting. Rachel has worked as a practice nurse for the past few years and has a special in wound care. |
